Nonna Flora - Italian Cooking Experience: Food Shopping Tour and Cooking Class

The historic centre of Sorrento is packed full of small food shops stocking the freshest and most delicious ingredients and this class will help you to discover them.

You will start your class off by taking a tour of all the food stalls and purchasing your ingredients for the day. This is a great way to discover, taste and buy products from the area directly from the people producing them which means they are fresh and, of course, tasty. You will learn how to choose the best products for the dishes that you will be preparing and make your way back to the school.

You will be guided through preparing the dishes for the day using the ingredients that you have bought. You will be doing everything hands-on and from scratch using traditional recipes and methods and see why the cuisine of the area is so loved and so delicious.

You will enjoy a meal of the dishes that you have prepared and pair it with a selection of drinks, from local wine to Sorrento craft beers and of course limoncello.

You are also able to book a private cooking class for different occasions such as a corporate event, a pre-wedding experience and even for a kids birthday party.
