Salento IGT is one of the most commonly used IGT titles in Puglia, southern Italy and it covers the Salento, the limestone-based peninsula that divides the Adriatic Sea from the Ionian Sea and forms Italy’s heel. The IGT Salento Rosé wine, signed by Oro del Salento, is made mostly with Negroamaro grapes and consists of 30% Malvasia Nera di Lecce grapes. The young, crystalline rosé has a beautiful intensity, intense and persistent aroma with hints of rose and pink fruits, and has a fresh and balanced taste.

Salice Salentino and Primitivo di Manduria are the two most popular DOC wines produced in the Puglia wine region and the climate is characterized by dry heat and soils that are bursting with fertility. This creates wines of Puglia that impress everyone who tastes them with their fruity maturity.
